Yep. That's what we get for having a condo with the water heater stashed in a crawlspace. Also, the HOA took forever to approve it. $3000 later, I can now shower at home.

Two weeks. And three of the plumbers we called screwed us over, either setting appointments that they didn't keep records of or telling us Saturday would be ok then saying "We don't work weekends" afterward.

I've started going with one of those big companies that does plumbing, electrical, etc. Their rates might be slightly higher than a local individual, but I've never had problems with them not showing up.
